Fleur de bitume, Street Art, 2025

Fleur de Bitume began as a real-life street experiment. I planted small, colorful flowers directly into the cracks of the city — on sidewalks, along canals, between stones and asphalt. Placing them in the urban landscape allowed each passerby to discover them unexpectedly, almost like a tiny secret waiting to be found.

The project is about noticing beauty where we least expect it. These little flowers appear in places that are usually ignored or overlooked, reminding us that beauty exists everywhere, even in the most ordinary corners of the city — you just have to pay attention.

They also carry a deeper idea present throughout my work: the power of nature. A kind of Supernature — wild, joyful, and unstoppable — that grows wherever it wants, even through concrete. It’s a playful symbol of resilience, freedom, and the natural world taking back its space.

Fleur de Bitume invites people to slow down, look around, and reconnect with a sense of wonder. A small moment of positivity planted right into the heart of the city.
